Today’s beautiful boho shoot is inspired by the American west but actually takes place in the UK! We were thrilled when photographer Carrie Lavers sent us these gorgeous, rustic elopement pictures. The autumnal styling by Lo & Behold Bespoke is to die for and the stunning venue of Loose Reins is the perfect setting for such a unique shoot. You will seriously love this shoot and any newly engaged couples will definitely find some inspiration! We spoke to photographer Carrie to find out more…
We have always loved the beautiful American boho mountain weddings that feature on wedding blogs like Bride and Tonic, showcasing creative suppliers alongside the natural beauty of the landscape. I was keen to shoot something in a similar style, something with a bit of a mid west, at home on the ranch feel, capturing the rustic beauty of the cabin and its pretty wooden veranda. We wanted to create the romantic, rustic and homely feel of a free spirited elopement.
When we found Loose Reins, we instantly knew we had stumbled across something special. The perfect retreat to relax, unwind and escape in your own little Pioneer cabin. We couldn’t believe it was in Dorset, UK!
The place is set in a very special natural valley with fields and woodland all around- the perfect retreat for a mini moon or romantic getaway. The beautiful cabin is stylishly accessorised and the wooden veranda quipped with sheepskin clad benches and willow rocking chairs is the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by.
The shoot was inspired by the Pioneers of the West, with a warm autumnal hues and beautiful bohemian gowns.
What an amazing shoot! We love this rustic venue and can’t believe it’s in the UK! Thanks so much to Carrie for sharing her gorgeous photographs (that light!) and to all the amazing suppliers involved in such a stunning shoot.
