Today’s rustic, boho, woodland inspired shoot was styled by Jaleh from from JEvents Planning & Design. The inspiration behind this shoot was to bring more perspective to couples that are looking for alternative to flowers as centre piece table decorations. The shoot took place in West Vancouver but we’re super excited as Jaleh is moving across the pond to London so fingers crossed we can collaborate more in the future.
In the words of Jaleh:
The very first idea behind this shoot was to create a setting that is magical, soft and romantic and to place this whimsical idea in the most dramatic space to create an extreme contrast. I wanted to play with extremes because that’s what life is, not always perfect but it’s how we make the perfect moments in the most random places.
The goal was to work with LED lights, geometric shapes, marble, glass and candles to create movement, repetition and harmony and make them look good together all at the same time, yet not lose the simplicity and beauty of each element. The art is in working with the minimal and creating magic with the least … keeping it simple yet artful. And that’s my mantra in my creations and what I always aim to do for my brides.”
Thank you so much to Jaleh from JEvents Planning & Design for sending us this woodland inspired shoot. We love the rustic feel and the hint of blue that runs throughout the shoot! For all of the suppliers involved, have a look below and for more real weddings and styled shoots click here.
