Our Top Ten Wonderful Wedding Dresses for Under £500

Ahh the wedding dress. That elusive item you have dreamed about ever since you were a little un, longed for that day you get to stand in front of the boutique mirror on a box, pined for after watching many a romcom. When that day finally arrives it’s often shocking to discover the inordinate price tags that most wedding dresses possess. GULP! I remember searching for hours until I finally found my ideal dress designer, however I soon realised this came with a hefty price tag. Luckily for me my best friend managed to source a local boutique with a range in the sale – winner! Now not everyone will be this lucky, however since we got married I’ve realised there is so much more choice available and so many gorgeous, reasonably priced dresses out there, and so many unique styles. Plus if you are thinking about planning a more ethical wedding you can often grab a bargain by shopping second hand or vintage, recycling, borrowing…the list goes on. For those of you who want that brand new, never been worn, wonder of a dress then we have sourced our favourites for you below…

Today’s supplier feels really close to my heart – we had a VW campervan at our own wedding which we then trundled off in on our honeymoon! Sigh…anyway, back to todays supplier – the wonderful Canny Campers based in North East England. Offering the classic Little Joe – a split screen VW campervan (from 1964!!) and the super sleek Millie, a black VW convertible Beetle. Two super cool vintage vehicles to help you turn up to your wedding in style! We chatted to owner Paul to find out more about Canny Campers (you might need a tissue ready for one super cute wedding story involving bag pipes…!)
