The florals are one of our favourite things about weddings. There are hundreds of different combinations and the different styles can fit varying themes from modern to rustic, glam to boho. Even the way you tie the flowers together can give the bouquet a completely different feel. They are also a great way to tie in your colour scheme through the bridal party and beyond. Have a go at…a BYO cake table

Planning a BYO cake table for your wedding! | British wedding blog - Bride and TonicFor me, when planning our wedding, cake was a big factor. I love cake. In most forms (apart from that thick royal icing on kids birthday cakes…oh no, gimme allll the cream cheese frosting). My super talented friend made us the most fantastic rustic Victoria sponge wedding cake, covered in delicious aqua icing with a sprinkling of gold leaf – dreamy. But then we had to think about what to have for our actual pudding, what to choose? With our wedding being a thoroughly DIY affair we decided to do just that – DIY it, or should I say BYO it?! We decided to ask our lovely friends and family to add a bit of their own personality to our day by making and bringing their own homemade favourite cakey goodness.
